Got a question? We are here to answer
The Withings ScanWatch line pairs an analog dial with a small hidden display for ECG, SpO2 and sleep data, and every generation covered here — original ScanWatch, ScanWatch 2, and the dive-styled Horizon — attaches its strap with a standard spring bar rather than a proprietary clip. That means any Withings ScanWatch strap on this page swaps in without tools, in one of two widths depending on which case you own.
42mm ScanWatch, 42mm ScanWatch 2 and the 43mm Horizon all take a 20mm strap. The smaller 38mm ScanWatch and 38mm ScanWatch 2 take 18mm instead. If you're not sure which case you have, the size is usually listed in the Withings app under device settings, or printed on the original box. This page covers ScanWatch specifically; for ScanWatch Light, ScanWatch Nova or Steel HR, see the wider Withings Watch Straps hub.
ScanWatch's whole appeal is looking like a normal analog watch rather than a gadget, so the strap matters as much as the dial. All six of the store's quick-release styles fit the 20mm case size; the 18mm case currently has one style available.
The Solin magnetic milanese mesh and the Rovan magnetic loop suit ScanWatch's dressier look best, closing with a concealed magnet rather than a buckle so the line stays slim under a cuff. On the 38mm case, Rovan is the only style currently stocked — a fitting match for the elegant, buckle-free look ScanWatch's hybrid design is going for anyway.
On the 42mm/43mm case, the Mavric braided loop and Vornis silicone sport strap handle workouts, wipe-clean days and rougher wear without looking out of place next to an analog dial.
ScanWatch tracks sleep stages and overnight SpO2, so a soft strap matters after dark too. The Véllo and Voren nylon loop styles, both 20mm only, are light enough to sleep in without noticing the watch is there.
Every strap here uses the same quick-release spring bar as the strap that shipped with your ScanWatch. Press the small lever on the underside of the strap, slide the old one out of the lugs, then slide the new strap's pins in until it clicks into place on both sides — the whole swap takes under a minute with no tools beyond the strap itself.
Match your case size before ordering: 20mm for 42mm ScanWatch, 42mm ScanWatch 2 and 43mm Horizon; 18mm for 38mm ScanWatch and 38mm ScanWatch 2. A strap cut for the wrong width won't seat properly in the lugs. Browse the full 20mm watch straps or 18mm watch straps ranges for more style options in either width.
Every ScanWatch generation covered here — original, ScanWatch 2 and Horizon — takes a standard quick-release strap in one of the two widths above, so there's no proprietary connector to worry about on this model line.
The trap is width, not compatibility: Withings sizes straps by case diameter, not by generation, so a 42mm ScanWatch 2 and a 38mm ScanWatch 2 need different widths despite sharing a name. Always check the case size printed in your Withings app or original packaging rather than assuming by model name alone. If you also own a ScanWatch Nova, note that it splits width the same way but at different case sizes.
