Which Samsung Watches These Straps Do Not Fit

Galaxy Watch Ultra

The Galaxy Watch Ultra does not take these straps. Samsung replaced conventional lugs on that model with a dedicated 34mm connection and states that it can only be used with its dedicated straps. Galaxy Watch 8 and 8 Classic

The Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic do not fit either. Samsung introduced a proprietary Dynamic Lug on that generation and says it is not compatible with straps from other previously released models. That includes every 20mm strap on this page. It is a hardware change, not a tolerance issue, so there is no forcing it.

How to check the lug width yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. Turn the watch over, lay a ruler across the opening between the two lugs where the strap sits, and measure the gap in millimeters — not the strap itself, which can be slightly narrower.
