That's a meaningful change from earlier T-Rex generations, which relied on Amazfit's own connector system, and it's easy to assume any T-Rex strap works across the whole rugged lineup. It doesn't — see the compatibility section below before ordering if you're not certain which T-Rex you own.
To swap a strap, push the lever on the back near the case, slide the old pin out of the lug, and press the new strap's pin in until it clicks.
Because the T-Rex 3 and 3 Pro share one case size and one width, this is one of the more straightforward Amazfit pages to shop from once you've confirmed you own the newest generation rather than an older T-Rex or the Ultra.

Sizing and Swapping Your T-Rex 3 Strap
Both the T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 3 Pro share the same 48mm case and 22mm lug, so there's no size decision to make between them — any strap on this page fits either.
If the spring-bar lever feels stiff on the first swap, that's normal for a new strap and loosens slightly with use — there's no need to force it.
- Lay the watch face-down and find the spring-bar lever on the underside of the strap.
- Push the lever in and slide that end of the strap off the lug.
- Repeat on the other side to remove the strap completely.
- Press the new strap's spring bar into the lugs until it clicks on both sides.
- Tug gently on both ends to confirm the strap is fully seated before your next run.
Caring for Your T-Rex 3 Strap
Trail dirt, sweat and pool chlorine all call for slightly different care.
- Silicone — rinse after workouts with mild soap and let it air dry fully before the next wear; don't leave it balled up while damp.
- Nylon — machine-wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag, then air dry rather than using a dryer, which can warp the weave.
- Magnetic or milanese — wipe with a damp cloth rather than soaking, and dry the clasp before reattaching so moisture doesn't sit in the closure.
Which Watches Don't Fit These Straps
The T-Rex name covers several very different watches — here's what these Amazfit T-Rex 3 straps do and don't fit. It's worth checking carefully, since the naming overlap across T-Rex generations is one of the most common sources of mis-ordering we see:
- Amazfit T-Rex 1, T-Rex Pro and T-Rex 2 use a proprietary connector, not quick release — these straps do not fit those earlier models, only the T-Rex 3 and 3 Pro.
- T-Rex Ultra uses screwed 22mm bars rather than quick release, so even though the width matches, these quick-release straps do not fit it. T-Rex Ultra 2 is a different width, 26mm, and doesn't fit either.
- Amazfit Verge and Verge Lite have straps built into the case, so they cannot take a replacement strap at all.
- Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro are 20mm, not 22mm — only round Cheetah, Cheetah Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra share this page's width; see Amazfit Cheetah Straps for the full breakdown.
- Active Edge does not appear on Amazfit's official compatibility chart, so we do not recommend standard straps for it.
