Amazfit Watch Bands — What Fits

Our Amazfit watch bands collection covers seven model families: GTR, GTS, T-Rex 3, Balance, Bip, Cheetah and Active. Between them, these watches take one of two standard quick-release widths — browse the full 22mm watch bands or 20mm watch bands ranges, or jump to your exact model in the guide below.

Amazfit has used quick-release lugs across most of its current lineup since the GTR and GTS launched in 2019, which is why a single band range can cover watches released years apart. The exact width still varies by case size within some families, so it's worth checking the model-by-model guide further down this page before you order.

Quick release means there is a small lever on the back of each band, next to the spring bar. Push the lever, slide the old band's pin out of the watch lug, then slide the new band's pin in until it clicks — no tools and no tiny screwdriver, just a few seconds per side.

This page exists because Amazfit's own naming can be confusing across seven active families and more than a decade of releases. Rather than guessing from a model name alone, use the width guide below or your model's dedicated page to confirm fit before you buy — a handful of names (Verge, Active Edge, T-Rex Ultra) sound like they belong to this collection but don't.

Why Fit and Material Matter on an Amazfit

Amazfit watches track heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep around the clock, so the band touching your wrist matters as much as the watch itself. A band that's too stiff or the wrong width can loosen during a run and throw off the optical sensor, while a bulky or scratchy band is the main reason people take a tracker off at night and lose a night of sleep data.

That's the practical case for keeping more than one band on hand: something built for sweat and movement during the day, and something lighter for overnight wear, without ever touching the watch head itself. It also means the choice of material isn't purely cosmetic — it can change how consistently the watch reads your pulse.

Because these are third-party compatible bands rather than Amazfit's own single boxed strap, you get far more colors and materials to pick from than the one option in the box, without paying accessory-store prices for each additional style.

Six Band Styles, Mapped to How You Use Your Amazfit

We carry six quick-release styles, and each one suits a different part of your week.

  • Vornis silicone sport — water-resistant and easy to rinse, built for training, running and swimming, and it won't hold onto sweat the way fabric can.
  • Véllo nylon loop and Voren nylon loop — woven, breathable straps light enough to sleep in for overnight heart-rate and sleep tracking, especially if silicone feels too warm on your skin.
  • Mavric braided loop — a textured everyday loop that dresses up a sport watch without adding bulk, useful for travel or casual weekends.
  • Solin magnetic milanese — a fine stainless mesh with a magnetic closure for an office-ready look that reads as more formal than silicone or nylon.
  • Rovan magnetic loop — quick on-and-off magnetic wear for grab-and-go days when you're swapping styles more than once.

Matching Material to Activity

If you only own one spare band, silicone is the most versatile pick since it handles workouts and everyday wear equally well. Add a nylon loop once you start tracking sleep, and a milanese or braided style once you need the watch to look at home in a meeting or on a dinner date.

Building a Small Rotation

Most owners land on two bands rather than one: a silicone band that stays on for workouts and rough days, and a lighter nylon or milanese band for everything else. Since swapping takes seconds and no tools, there's little reason to compromise between the two, and a third style for the office is an easy add later.

How to Change Your Amazfit Band

Every band in this collection uses the same quick-release fitting as the watch it's designed for, so swapping styles takes about the same amount of time across all seven Amazfit families above, whether it's a first-generation GTR or a brand-new Active Max.

If the lever feels stiff the first time, that's normal on a new band — the mechanism tends to loosen slightly after the first few swaps, so there's no need to force it.

  • Lay the watch face-down and find the small spring-bar lever on the underside of the band, close to the case.
  • Push the lever toward the center of the band and pull that end away from the watch.
  • Repeat on the other side to remove the band completely.
  • Line up the new band's spring bar with the lugs and press in until you hear a click, then repeat on the other side.
  • Tug gently on both sides to confirm the band is seated before you wear it.

Caring for Your Bands

How you clean a band depends on what it's made from, so it's worth treating each style a little differently rather than running everything under the tap or tossing it in the wash.

  • Silicone (Vornis) — rinse under the tap with a little mild soap after workouts, and dry it fully before putting it back on; avoid leaving it balled up while still damp.
  • Nylon loops (Véllo, Voren) — place in a mesh laundry bag and run on a cold, gentle cycle, then air dry completely rather than using a dryer.
  • Magnetic and milanese styles (Solin, Rovan, Mavric) — wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth rather than submerging them, and dry the clasp before you reattach it so moisture doesn't sit in the closure.

Which Amazfit Watches Don't Fit

Not every Amazfit is a quick-release watch, and a few model names are easy to mix up with the ones this collection covers. These aren't rare edge cases — they're some of the most common mix-ups we hear about, so check your exact model against the list below before you order.

  • Amazfit T-Rex 1, T-Rex Pro and T-Rex 2 use proprietary connectors — standard bands, including these, do not fit. Only T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 3 Pro moved to the standard 22mm quick-release system.
  • T-Rex Ultra uses screwed 22mm bars rather than quick release, and T-Rex Ultra 2 is 26mm — neither works with the quick-release bands sold here.
  • Amazfit Verge and Verge Lite have bands built into the case, so they cannot take a replacement band at all.
  • Cheetah width depends on the exact model: round Cheetah, Cheetah Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra are 22mm, but Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro are 20mm — the wrong width will not seat in the lugs.
  • Active Edge does not appear on Amazfit's official compatibility chart, so we do not recommend standard bands for it.

Every style above ships fast and can be returned easily if the fit or color isn't right, so building out a small rotation of bands for training, sleep and the office is low risk. Pick your exact model from the guide above to see every color and style available for your case size, and check the compatibility notes on that page if you're at all unsure which width you need.
