Amazfit Cheetah Bands — What Fits

Amazfit's Cheetah line splits by case shape as well as width. The round Cheetah, Cheetah Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra use 22mm quick-release bands, while the square-faced Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro use 20mm. The two widths are not interchangeable, so confirm your case shape before ordering an Amazfit Cheetah band.

The Cheetah series, launched in 2023, was built as Amazfit's running-focused line, positioned between the everyday GTR and the rugged T-Rex, which is why it comes in both a round sport-watch shape and a squarer, lighter body depending on the generation.

Every Cheetah uses the same spring-bar quick-release mechanism regardless of width: push the lever on the back of the band, slide the old pin out of the lug, and press the new band's pin in until it clicks.

If you're unsure which Cheetah you own, checking the case shape is the fastest way to tell — round cases take 22mm, square cases take 20mm, and the model name is also printed in the watch's settings menu. Cheetah 2 Ultra and the original round Cheetah share that same case shape despite being different generations, which adds to the confusion.

Why Getting the Width Right Matters

Because two Cheetah models can sit side by side and look similar despite using different lug widths, ordering the wrong one is the single most common mistake on this page. A 20mm band will not seat in a 22mm case's spring-bar channel, so it's worth confirming round versus square before you check out.

This is especially easy to get wrong if you're replacing a band from memory rather than checking the watch itself, since both widths are sold as "Cheetah" bands. Checking the model name in the watch's settings menu takes a few seconds and removes any doubt.

Because these are third-party compatible bands rather than Amazfit's own single boxed strap, you get far more colors and materials to pick from than the one option in the box, without paying accessory-store prices for each additional style.

Band Styles for the Cheetah

All six of our quick-release styles come in both Cheetah widths, so Amazfit Cheetah replacement bands cover training runs and everyday wear alike.

  • Vornis silicone sport for training and swimming, since it sheds water instantly and rinses odor-free.
  • Véllo and Voren nylon loops for lightweight, breathable all-day and overnight wear.
  • Mavric braided loop for a casual daily look away from the track.
  • Solin magnetic milanese for the office, where the metallic finish reads more formal.
  • Rovan magnetic loop for fast on-and-off wear between runs and errands.

Sizing and Swapping Your Cheetah Band

Check your case shape before you buy an Amazfit Cheetah strap: round Cheetah, Cheetah Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra take 22mm, the same width as the Amazfit GTR, while the square Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro take 20mm.

If the spring-bar lever feels stiff on the first swap, that's normal for a new band and loosens slightly with use.

  • Lay the watch face-down and locate the spring-bar lever on the underside of the band.
  • Push the lever in and slide that end off the lug.
  • Repeat on the other side to free the band completely.
  • Press the new band's spring bar into the lugs until it clicks on both sides.
  • Tug gently to confirm the band is fully seated before your next run.

Caring for Your Cheetah Band

Each material holds up best with slightly different care.

  • Silicone — rinse after workouts with mild soap and let it air dry fully before the next wear; don't leave it balled up while damp.
  • Nylon — machine-wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag, then air dry rather than using a dryer, which can warp the weave.
  • Magnetic or milanese — wipe with a damp cloth rather than soaking, and dry the clasp before reattaching so moisture doesn't sit in the closure.

Which Watches Don't Fit These Bands

Beyond matching the right Cheetah width, a few other Amazfit models don't work with any Cheetah band. Worth checking carefully, since a couple of these come up often:

  • Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro are 20mm, not 22mm — ordering the round-model width for a square Cheetah, or the reverse, means the pins will not seat, so double-check your case shape first.
  • Amazfit T-Rex 1, T-Rex Pro and T-Rex 2 use proprietary connectors — standard bands, including these, do not fit. Only T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 3 Pro moved to the standard 22mm quick-release system.
  • T-Rex Ultra uses screwed 22mm bars rather than quick release, and T-Rex Ultra 2 is 26mm — neither works with the quick-release bands sold here.
  • Amazfit Verge and Verge Lite have bands built into the case, so they cannot take a replacement band at all.
  • Active Edge does not appear on Amazfit's official compatibility chart, so we do not recommend standard bands for it.

Shop Amazfit Cheetah Bands with Confidence

Every style here ships fast and comes with easy returns, so trying a new color or material for your Cheetah is low risk regardless of which case shape you own. Since every band uses the same tool-free quick-release fitting, keeping a spare on hand for race day and recovery days costs you nothing in convenience. Pairing a rugged silicone band for race day with a lighter loop for rest days is a common combination among Cheetah owners.
