The Amazfit Active, Active 2 and Active 3 Premium all use 20mm quick-release bands, while the larger 48mm Active Max steps up to 22mm. Confirm which model you own before ordering Amazfit Active straps, since the two widths are not interchangeable.

The Active series, launched in 2023, sits in Amazfit's mid-range lineup, aimed at everyday fitness tracking rather than the rugged T-Rex or running-focused Cheetah, and every model in it — apart from Active Edge, covered below — uses one of these two standard quick-release widths.

Both widths use the same spring-bar quick-release mechanism: push the lever on the back of the band, slide the old pin out of the lug, and press the new band's pin in until it clicks.

If you're unsure which Active you own, checking the case size against the 48mm Active Max is usually the fastest way to tell — everything smaller in the family takes 20mm, and the model name also appears in the watch's settings menu. Active 3 Premium is sometimes shortened to just "Active 3" in casual conversation, which can blur into the unrelated Active Edge name.

Why Getting the Right Model Matters

Active, Active 2, Active 3 Premium and Active Max share a similar look and name, which makes it easy to assume any band fits any of them. The two widths aren't interchangeable, and Active Edge is a separate case entirely — so it's worth confirming your exact model against the compatibility section below before you buy.

The Active Edge naming overlap in particular trips people up, since it reads as a variant of the Active rather than a separate, unconfirmed device. If your box or manual doesn't explicitly say Active, Active 2, Active 3 Premium or Active Max, it's worth confirming the exact model before ordering.

Because these are third-party compatible bands rather than Amazfit's own single boxed strap, you get far more colors and materials to pick from than the one option in the box, without paying accessory-store prices for each additional style.

Band Styles for the Active

• Vornis silicone sport for training and swimming, since it sheds water instantly and rinses odor-free.
• Véllo and Voren nylon loops for lightweight, breathable all-day and overnight wear.

• Solin magnetic milanese for the office, where the metallic finish reads more formal.
• Rovan magnetic loop for fast on-and-off wear on busy days.

Sizing and Swapping Your Active Band

Check your model first: Active, Active 2 and Active 3 Premium take 20mm, while Active Max takes 22mm.

If the spring-bar lever feels stiff on the first try, that's normal for a new band and eases after a couple of swaps.

• Lay the watch face-down and find the spring-bar lever on the underside of the band.
• Push the lever in and slide that end off the lug.
• Repeat on the other side to remove the band completely.
• Press the new band's spring bar into the lugs until it clicks on both sides.
• Tug gently to confirm the band is fully seated before wearing it.

Caring for Your Active Band

Each material holds up best with slightly different care.

• Silicone — rinse after workouts with mild soap and let it air dry fully before the next wear; don't leave it balled up while damp.
• Nylon — machine-wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag, then air dry rather than using a dryer, which can warp the weave.
• Magnetic or milanese — wipe with a damp cloth rather than soaking, and dry the clasp before reattaching so moisture doesn't sit in the closure.

Which Watches Don't Fit These Bands

The Active name covers a couple of edge cases worth checking, alongside the usual brand-wide exceptions. It's worth reading through even if you're confident in your model:

• Active Edge is a different watch from the Active, Active 2, Active 3 Premium and Active Max covered on this page. It does not appear on Amazfit's official compatibility chart, so we do not recommend using standard bands, including these, with it.
• Amazfit T-Rex 1, T-Rex Pro and T-Rex 2 use proprietary connectors — standard bands, including these, do not fit. Only T-Rex 3 and T-Rex 3 Pro moved to the standard 22mm quick-release system.
• T-Rex Ultra uses screwed 22mm bars rather than quick release, and T-Rex Ultra 2 is 26mm — neither works with the quick-release bands sold here.
• Amazfit Verge and Verge Lite have bands built into the case, so they cannot take a replacement band at all.
• Cheetah width depends on the exact model: round Cheetah, Cheetah Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra are 22mm, but Cheetah Square and Cheetah 2 Pro are 20mm — the wrong width will not seat in the lugs.
