COROS Apex Bands — What Fits

The original COROS Apex comes in two case sizes with two different band widths: the 42mm case uses a 20mm quick-release band, while the 46mm case and the Apex Pro use a 22mm band. Check your case size before ordering as a replacement band, since the two widths are not interchangeable.

Both widths use the same quick-release system: a small lever on the spring bar lets you pull the pin free of the lug without tools, so the old band slides out and a new one clicks straight in.

Buying a replacement band separately from COROS also means you're not limited to the color your watch shipped with — you can match a band to an outfit or a training block, and swap between styles as often as you like.

Band Styles For The Apex

All six of our quick-release styles are available in both 20mm and 22mm, so the same look works whichever Apex case size you own.

If you're not sure which material suits you best, the Vornis silicone sport band is the safest all-rounder — comfortable enough for daily wear and tough enough for training.

• Vornis silicone sport — sweat-resistant and easy to rinse; the default choice for training with the Apex.
• Véllo nylon loop and Voren nylon loop — adjustable hook-and-loop styles for workouts.
• Solin magnetic milanese — stainless mesh with a magnetic clasp for a dressier look.
• Mavric braided loop — a softer fabric alternative to milanese.
• Rovan magnetic loop — light enough for all-day and overnight wear.

Fitting A Band To Your Apex

Find the small release lever on the underside of the band near the spring bar, push it in, and angle the band away from the case — it comes free without tools. Press the new band's bars into the same lugs until both sides click into place.

Each style includes an adjustable clasp or a spare keeper loop to fit most adult wrists, in either width. If you're ever unsure which width you need, measure the gap between the spring-bar lugs on the back of the case, or check the width printed on your current strap, before ordering.

Caring For Your Apex Band

Rinse the Vornis silicone band under water after sweaty sessions and let it air dry. Nylon and braided styles can be hand-washed with mild soap if they start to hold odor. Keep the magnetic clasp area on the Solin and Rovan bands free of metal dust so it keeps closing cleanly.

Store bands away from direct sunlight and extreme heat when not in use — prolonged UV exposure can cause silicone to stiffen slightly over time, and it can fade the color on nylon and braided styles.

Which Watches Don't Fit These Bands

A few related models use different widths than either Apex size:

• The COROS Vertix 2 and Vertix 2S use 26mm bands — wider than either Apex width. Only the original 2019 COROS Vertix uses 22mm, matching the Apex 46mm/Pro width.
• The COROS Nomad and the Apex 4 46mm both use 24mm bands, a width that sits between the two widths sold here and isn't compatible with either.
• The COROS Pace 2 and original Pace use 20mm (matching the Apex 42mm), but the Pace 3, Pace Pro and Pace 4 moved to 22mm (matching the Apex 46mm/Pro).
