Got a question? We are here to answer
Withings builds hybrid smartwatches: analog dials that look like a normal watch on the outside while tracking steps, sleep staging and heart health underneath. Because the design stays close to a classic watch, every model covered here attaches its strap with a plain spring bar rather than a proprietary clip, which means aftermarket Withings bands swap on and off in seconds with nothing more than a small lever — no watchmaker, no special tool.
This hub covers Withings ScanWatch (including ScanWatch 2 and Horizon), ScanWatch Light, ScanWatch Nova (including Nova Brilliant), and Steel HR (including Steel and Move). Width isn't printed anywhere on the box, and it doesn't track neatly by model name either, so the model-by-model list further down this page breaks down exactly which case size takes which band width before you buy.
Withings watches are built to pass for an ordinary analog watch, so a band that keeps that dressier look tends to suit the design better than a sport-branded one. All six of the store's quick-release styles fit the 20mm size. The 18mm size — used on every Withings case 39mm and under — currently ships in one style only: the Rovan magnetic loop.
For the hybrid look Withings is built around, the Solin magnetic milanese mesh and the Rovan magnetic loop are the two styles that match ScanWatch and Steel HR's dressier design best. Both close with a hidden magnet instead of a buckle, so the line stays clean and slim under a shirt cuff — in keeping with the hybrid-watch look ScanWatch and Steel HR are designed around. Rovan is also the one style currently available at 18mm, so smaller Withings cases (ScanWatch 38mm, ScanWatch Light, Nova Brilliant, Steel HR 36mm) get the dressier magnetic option by default rather than as an upgrade.
At 20mm, the Mavric braided loop and the Vornis silicone sport band cover gym sessions, wipe-clean days and general knockabout wear without pulling attention away from the analog face.
Withings watches track sleep staging, so a soft band matters overnight as well as during the day. The Véllo and Voren nylon loop styles, both 20mm only, are light and breathable enough to leave on in bed without noticing the watch is there.
Every band on this page uses the same quick-release spring bar as the watch's original strap. Pull the small lever on the underside of the band, slide it free of the lug, then slide the new band's pins into the same lugs until both ends click. The whole swap takes well under a minute and needs nothing but the band itself.
The one detail worth double-checking is width, because on Withings it tracks case diameter rather than model generation. Your case size is usually printed on the watch's original box or listed in the Withings app under device settings — round it to the nearest millimeter and match it against the 18mm/20mm split below before you order, since a band in the wrong width simply won't seat in the lugs.
None of the Withings watches covered here uses a proprietary strap connector — every ScanWatch, ScanWatch Light, ScanWatch Nova and Steel HR model, plus Steel and Move, takes a standard quick-release band. The trap here isn't compatibility, it's width: because sizing follows case diameter instead of model name, it's easy to order 20mm for a watch that actually needs 18mm, or the reverse, especially across models that share a family name but not a case size.
The rule to follow: ScanWatch 38mm, ScanWatch 2 38mm, ScanWatch Light 37mm, Nova Brilliant 39mm, Steel HR 36mm, Steel, and Move 38mm all take 18mm. ScanWatch 42mm, ScanWatch 2 42mm, Horizon 43mm, Nova 42mm, Steel HR 40mm and Steel HR Sport all take 20mm. Check the model pages linked below for your exact case before checkout.
Match your case size to a width below, then open that model's page for the full style range and sizing detail.
