Watch band answers
Do watches in the same family use the same bands?
Not always. The 11 Garmin Venu records span 4 standard quick-release widths: 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm, 24 mm. Knowing “Venu” is not enough to select a band; the exact model matters.
How much can the fitting vary within a family?
The 28 Garmin fēnix records use 3 QuickFit widths. 9 records use Garmin QuickFit 20 (32.1%); 10 records use Garmin QuickFit 22 (35.7%); 9 records use Garmin QuickFit 26 (32.1%). Selecting only “fēnix” leaves several possible fittings.
| Model family | Records | Recorded fitting categories |

| Garmin Forerunner | 23 | 20 mm standard quick release Garmin QuickFit 22 22 mm standard quick release Garmin screw-attached bands 18 mm standard quick release Garmin model-specific pin/screw-attached Forerunner bands |

The comparison covers six named families, grouped by brand and model name. A family can contain several widths or different attachment mechanisms.
Different case sizes can also share a band
| Watch | Band fitting |
|---|---|
| Garmin Venu 3S 41mm | Quick Release 18mm |
| Garmin Venu 3 45mm | Quick Release 22mm |
| Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 40mm | Quick Release 20mm |
| Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 44mm | Quick Release 20mm |
A letter or a generation can change the answer
Venu 3S uses an 18 mm quick-release band; Venu 3 uses 22 mm. By contrast, the 40 mm and 44 mm Galaxy Watch 6 versions both use 20 mm quick-release bands. The case-size number alone does not tell you the attachment width.
How to choose the right version
- Find the full model name or model code on the watch, box label, or Settings → About screen.
- Keep suffixes such as S, Pro, Classic and Ultra, along with the generation number.
- Select the case size when the finder shows more than one fitting.
