Watch band answers
What length smartwatch band do I need?
Choose a smartwatch band whose stated wrist-size range includes your wrist circumference, after confirming that its connector fits your watch. There is no single band length that fits every smartwatch and every wrist. The case-size label alone cannot tell you which length to choose.
Why “small” and “large” need measurements
Google’s published original Pixel Watch Active Band specifications illustrate the distinction: the small band fits 130–175 mm wrists, while the large fits 165–210 mm. Their wrist ranges overlap by 10 mm, even though they are different band lengths. These are Google’s ranges for that band—not a sizing chart for all Pixel bands or Nothing But Bands products. Find your wrist measurement
- Measure where you wear the watch. Wrap a flexible tape around your wrist without pulling it tight. If using a strip of paper, mark the overlap and measure it flat.
- Read the actual band’s size range. Check the product and size variant, not just a label such as S/M.
- Allow for adjustment. Buckled, stretch, magnetic and link bands adjust differently. Use the sizing instructions for that design.
Can you calculate length from case size?
Not reliably. Case diameter is not lug-to-lug length, and physical strap length is not the same as the wrist range it can close around. Hole positions, overlap, buckle geometry, links and elasticity affect the result. We do not use a generic “wrist minus case size” formula to promise a fit.
What does our database tell you?
The Nothing But Bands compatibility database identifies the watch-side fitting. It does not contain wrist circumferences or closure measurements for every strap. Use the finder for the connector and width, then use the selected band’s product-specific wrist range for length. If that range is missing, ask for the measurement rather than guessing.
