Choose your watch size: Gen 6 44mm (22mm) · Gen 6 42mm (18mm)
These quick-release bands fit the Fossil Gen 6 in both case sizes: 22mm for the 44mm touchscreen case, 18mm for the 42mm case. They also fit classic Fossil watches with matching lug widths. Note the Gen 6 Wellness Edition is the exception: it's a 44mm case on 20mm lugs, so it needs 20mm bands instead.

Got a question? We are here to answer
The Fossil Gen 6 comes in two case sizes with two different band widths: 22mm on the 44mm case, and 18mm on the 42mm case — not the 20mm you'll see on some third-party sizing charts. Fossil's own interchangeable straps for the 42mm Gen 6 are 18mm, so that's the width we cut these Fossil Gen 6 bands to. One Gen 6 breaks that pattern: the Wellness Edition is a 44mm case on 20mm lugs, so the bands here won't fit it — more on that below.
Every band here is a quick-release, spring-bar design: flip the small lever on the back, slide the old band out of the lugs, and press the new one in until it clicks on both sides. No tools, about 10 seconds per side.
Because Fossil smartwatches use standard lug spacing, these bands also fit classic, non-smart Fossil watches with matching 22mm or 18mm lugs — so if you picked this up searching for Fossil watch bands for a regular Fossil dress watch, the same rule applies here.

We make Gen 6 bands in six quick-release styles, split across three everyday needs.
Vornis silicone sport is built for training and daily workouts — sweat-friendly and quick to rinse clean. Mavric braided loop is a breathable alternative if silicone isn't your thing.
Solin magnetic milanese gives a dressier, mesh-metal look with a magnetic clasp that micro-adjusts to your wrist. Véllo nylon loop is a softer, single-piece option for smart-casual wear.
Rovan magnetic silicone sport is the lightest option for sleep tracking or all-day wear, and it's the one style we make in 18mm — so if you own the Gen 6 42mm, you can get your exact width today. Every other style on this page is made in 22mm, for the 44mm case. Voren nylon loop rounds out the everyday options in 22mm.
Not sure which Gen 6 you have? The 44mm case is the standard touchscreen Gen 6 and takes 22mm bands; the 42mm case takes 18mm. The exception is the Wellness Edition, which is 44mm but sits on 20mm lugs. You can also check the underside of your current band, where Fossil usually stamps the width in millimeters near the buckle.
To swap, find the small pin or lever on the inside of the band near the case, slide it toward the center to release the spring bar, then press the new band's spring bar into the same lugs until both sides click. It takes well under a minute and no tools.
For a broader look at either size, browse our full 22mm quick-release bands or 18mm bands collections.
The Gen 6 42mm takes an 18mm band, not 20mm. This trips people up because a lot of general sizing guides round 42mm cases to 20mm — Fossil's own straps for the Gen 6 42mm are 18mm, so a 20mm band will be too wide to seat in the lugs.
The Gen 6 Wellness Edition doesn't take these bands either. It was sold only as a 44mm case, but it sits on 20mm lugs instead of the 22mm the standard Gen 6 44mm uses, so case size alone won't tell you the width here. If that's your watch, browse our 20mm quick-release bands instead.
Don't confuse this page with the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition Hybrid, a different 45mm watch that takes 20mm bands. It shares the 'Gen 6' name but not the case size or band width of the touchscreen Gen 6 covered here.
The Fossil Gen 5E 42mm shares this same 18mm sizing, in case that's actually your model — see Fossil Gen 5 Bands.
Rinse silicone and nylon bands under water after sweaty workouts and let them air dry before wearing again. Wipe the magnetic milanese or magnetic silicone sport styles with a soft, dry cloth instead of submerging them, and keep them away from other magnetic items when off your wrist.
