Polar Vantage Bands — What Fits

The Polar Vantage M, M2, M3, V and V3 all share the same 22mm quick-release lug width, so any band on this page fits whichever generation you own, from the original 2018 Vantage M through to the current V3.

These bands attach with a quick-release spring bar: a small lever on the back lets you unclip the old band and click in a new one without a screwdriver or a trip to a watch counter.

One Vantage model breaks the pattern — the Vantage V2 — which needs Polar's own wristband adapter instead. We cover that in full further down this page. For the rest of Polar's lineup, see the full Polar Watch Bands collection.

A stock band eventually wears at the spring-bar holes from daily use, and third-party bands give Vantage owners more style choice than the handful of options that ship with the watch. Whichever style you pick, the fit is identical, since Polar hasn't changed the Vantage's lug width across any generation.

Style Guide for the Vantage

The Vantage is built as a training watch, so most owners keep at least one band suited to workouts alongside something smarter for the rest of the day.

Vantage owners training most days typically keep at least one moisture-resistant option and one dressier option on hand, so they're not stuck wearing gym gear to the office.

  • Vornis silicone sport band — sweat-resistant and light, the default choice for runs and gym sessions.
  • Rovan magnetic loop — snaps to a new length in a second, useful if your wrist changes slightly during long efforts.
  • Solin magnetic milanese — swaps the sport look for a fine mesh finish that works at the office.
  • Mavric braided loop — a stretch-fit everyday band for casual wear.
  • Véllo nylon loop — soft and low-profile enough to sleep in for sleep tracking.
  • Voren nylon loop — a woven nylon alternative with a slightly different, dressier casual look.

Fitting Your Vantage Band

Turn the watch over and look at the spring bar connecting the current band to the case. Push the small lever inward, and the bar releases from one side, letting the band slide free. Fit the new band by pressing its spring bar between the lugs until you hear it click into place, then repeat for the second side.

The swap takes under a minute, doesn't require removing the watch case back, and doesn't affect the seal that keeps the watch water resistant.

First-time swaps are easiest if you rest the watch face-down on a soft surface so you're not tempted to grip the display. If you're ever unsure which width to order, measure the gap between the lugs on the back of the case rather than guessing from memory.

Caring for Your Band

Rinse silicone and nylon bands under fresh water after training or a swim, then let them air dry before reattaching. Wipe the milanese and magnetic loop bands with a dry cloth instead of submerging them, since water can collect between the mesh links.

Keeping a second band in rotation lets each one dry out fully between wears, which helps it last longer.

Store any band you're not wearing flat and out of direct sunlight, since prolonged heat can dry out silicone and dull a milanese finish over time.

Which Watches Don't Fit These Bands

These are the exceptions worth knowing before you order:

  • The Vantage V2 is the one exception in the Vantage family: Polar's own manual calls for its dedicated wristband adapter, so we do not recommend standard 22mm bands for the V2 on its own.
  • Older Polar watches — the V800, M600, M430, M400, A360, A370 and Loop — use proprietary band systems from an earlier design generation and do not fit these bands either.
  • If you own a Polar Pacer instead, note the Pacer Pro has the same adapter requirement as the Vantage V2 — only the standard Pacer takes a direct-fit band, and it uses a narrower 20mm width.
