Skagen Watch Bands — What Fits

Skagen's smartwatch lineup covers two families, Falster and Jorn, across three lug widths: 20mm, 22mm and 18mm. Our Skagen watch bands are quick-release, spring-bar bands cut to those exact widths, and because width varies by generation within Falster itself, it's worth checking your exact model rather than assuming by name alone.

Every band here uses a quick-release spring bar: flip the small lever on the back of the band, slide the old one out of the lugs, and press the new one in until it clicks on both sides. No tools, and about 10 seconds per side.

One thing worth knowing if you're browsing Skagen watch bands generally: Skagen watches use standard lug spacing, so every band on this page also fits classic, non-smart Skagen watches that share the same lug width. You don't need a 'smartwatch' label on the box for these to work — plenty of shoppers here own a regular Skagen dress watch, not a touchscreen one, and that's exactly what these bands are built for too.

Skagen's Danish design keeps both Falster and Jorn cases slim, but slim cases don't automatically mean a common band size — precise measurement remains the only reliable way to match a band to a specific Skagen watch. That's especially true for Falster, where the name alone spans three different hardware generations released across several years.

Our 6 Band Styles for Every Skagen

Once you know your width, the choice comes down to look and use case. We make these bands in six quick-release styles, so getting the size right doesn't mean settling for one style.

For the Gym

Vornis silicone sport is the go-to for training and daily workouts — sweat-friendly silicone that rinses clean in seconds. Mavric braided loop is a breathable, textile alternative if you want a sport band that doesn't feel like rubber against the skin. Both styles are quick to dry, which matters if you're swimming or running in humid weather.

For the Office

Solin magnetic milanese gives a dressier, mesh-metal look with a magnetic clasp that micro-adjusts to your wrist — it sits well under a shirt cuff. Véllo nylon loop is a softer, single-piece nylon band for a smart-casual middle ground. Either option looks equally at home paired with a blazer or a knit sweater.

For Sleep & Everyday Wear

Rovan magnetic loop is our lightest option and, for now, the only style we make in 18mm — a natural pick if you're wearing your Skagen Jorn 38mm around the clock, sleep tracking included. Voren nylon loop is a soft, breathable everyday alternative available in 22mm and 20mm. Both are light enough that most wearers forget they have the band on by the second night.

Finding Your Width and Swapping a Band

If you already own the watch, the fastest way to confirm width is to check the model list above, or look at the underside of your current band near the buckle — Skagen's own straps are usually stamped with the width in millimeters right there. You can also measure the gap between the lugs directly with a ruler or calipers.

To swap: find the small pin or lever on the inside of the band where it meets the case, slide it toward the center, and the spring bar releases from the lugs. Line up the new band's spring bar with the same lugs and press until both sides click into place. The whole swap takes well under a minute and doesn't need any tools. This is especially useful if you're buying a band as a gift and don't have the watch in hand to measure directly.

Which Watches Don't Fit

Falster width depends on generation, so a band that fits one Falster won't necessarily fit another. Falster 1, Falster 2 and the newer Falster Gen 6 41mm all use 20mm bands. Falster 3, also sold as X by KYGO, is 22mm — a different width from every other Falster. If you're not sure which generation you own, check the case back or measure the lug gap before ordering; don't assume a Falster band is one-size-fits-all across generations. This is the single most common sizing mistake we see with Falster specifically, since the model name alone doesn't tell you the generation.

Caring for Your Bands

Silicone and nylon bands (Vornis, Véllo, Voren) can be rinsed under running water after a workout or swim — let them air dry fully before storing or wearing again. Wipe the magnetic milanese mesh (Solin) and magnetic loop (Rovan) with a soft, dry cloth rather than submerging them, and keep them away from other magnetic pins, cards or electronics when they're off your wrist.

Avoid soaking any band in chlorine or salt water for extended periods, and give the spring bars an occasional check to make sure they're still seated firmly in the lugs, especially after a few months of daily swapping.
