Got a question? We are here to answer
The Huawei Watch 5, released in 2025, comes in two case sizes — 46mm and 42mm — and takes standard quick-release bands rather than a proprietary connector. Huawei doesn't publish an official lug width for either case, so this collection is grouped by case size instead: the bands we list for the 46mm Watch 5 are 22mm quick-release bands, and the ones we list for the 42mm are 18mm. If you're not sure which you need, check your case size and the width marked on a strap you already own before ordering.
Every band here uses a spring-bar quick release, so no tools are needed: a small lever on the underside of the band retracts the bar, letting the old band lift out and the new one click into the same lug holes.
Buying bands separately also means you aren't limited to the color your watch shipped with — you can match a band to an outfit, rotate styles through the week, or keep a dedicated band just for workouts.

Which styles are available depends on your case size, though every style uses the same quick-release fitting once it's on the watch.
The 46mm Watch 5 has the full range available: the Mavric braided loop, Solin magnetic milanese, Véllo, Voren and Bravik nylon loops, and Vornis and Rovan silicone sport. None of these materials stretch or crease with regular wear, so they hold their shape over months of daily use.
The 42mm Watch 5 currently has a narrower choice: the Rovan silicone sport — a soft silicone band with a magnetic closure that adjusts instantly to your wrist. It's a versatile, low-profile choice that works equally well for workouts, sleep tracking or the office.
Vornis silicone sport suits workouts and sweat best. Solin magnetic milanese dresses the watch up for the office, while the Véllo or Voren nylon loop keeps things light for all-day and overnight wear. If you're choosing between the 46mm and 42mm Watch 5, remember the full style range is only available on the larger case.
Fitting a new band takes seconds and no tools, whether you're switching away from the box strap or between two quick-release styles you already own:
Silicone rinses clean with water and a little mild soap. Nylon loop bands should be hand washed and air dried rather than tumble dried, which wears down the hook-and-loop closure. Wipe the magnetic milanese dry after sweat or water exposure to keep the mesh finish looking new. Store any band you aren't currently wearing somewhere dry and out of direct light to keep colors from fading over time. Rotating between two or three bands also gives the Watch 5 a fresh look through the week and lets each one fully dry between wears.
A Huawei Watch 5 strap has to match your watch's own lug width, and that isn't the same across every Huawei wearable. A few other Huawei products, and even the other Watch 5 case size, need a different width or a different system entirely:
