Got a question? We are here to answer
The Polar Unite uses a 20mm quick-release band, the same width as the Ignite and the standard Pacer. Since launching in 2020, the Unite has kept this one consistent size, so any 20mm band on this page fits.
The band attaches with a quick-release spring bar: press the small lever on the back, and the old band slides free; press the new band's spring bar into the lugs to click it into place. No tools required.
See the full Polar Watch Bands collection for bands that fit the Vantage, Ignite, Pacer and Grit X as well.
A stock band eventually wears at the spring-bar holes, and third-party bands give Unite owners more style choice than the handful of options that ship with the watch — useful since the Unite is often worn around the clock for both activity and sleep tracking.
Polar positions the Unite as an everyday fitness and wellness watch, so comfort for all-day — and overnight — wear matters as much as performance.
Because the Unite tracks sleep as well as daily activity, a lot of owners keep a soft nylon option specifically for bedtime and switch to something sportier during the day.
Flip the watch over, push the small lever on the spring bar behind the current band, and slide it free. Line up the new band's spring bar with the lugs and press until both sides click into place.
The whole swap takes under a minute and doesn't need any tools.
First-time swaps are easiest with the watch resting face-down on a soft surface. If you're ever unsure which width to order, measure the gap between the lugs on the back of the case rather than guessing.
Silicone and nylon bands can be rinsed after a workout or overnight wear and left to air dry. Magnetic milanese and magnetic loop bands should be wiped with a dry cloth instead of rinsed, since water can collect inside the mesh links.
Store any band you're not wearing flat and out of direct sunlight, since prolonged heat can dry out silicone and dull a milanese finish over time. Rotating between two bands also gives each one time to air out fully between wears.
These 20mm bands are sized for the Unite specifically, so double-check your model before ordering if you own more than one Polar watch. A few other Polar watches need a different fit:
