Which Galaxy Watch models do these bands fit?

Samsung uses four different band fittings, so match yours before you order. 20mm quick-release spring bar: Galaxy Watch 4, 5, 6 and 7, including every Classic and Pro variant, plus the Galaxy Watch FE, the Watch Active and Active 2, the Watch 3 41mm and the 2018 Galaxy Watch 42mm. 22mm quick-release spring bar: Galaxy Watch 3 45mm, the 2018 Galaxy Watch 46mm, and the Gear S3, Gear Sport and Gear S2 Classic. Dynamic Lug: Galaxy Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch 9, which take no spring bar at all. Dedicated 34mm connection: Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch Ultra 2, which only accept their own bands. Do the same bands fit both the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 9?

Yes. The Galaxy Watch 8, the Watch 8 Classic and the Galaxy Watch 9 all share Samsung's Dynamic Lug attachment, so bands swap freely between them in both directions. There's no case size to choose either, since the 40mm and 44mm cases and the 46mm Watch 8 Classic all take the same band. These bands don't accept the 20mm spring-bar straps from the Galaxy Watch 7 or earlier, and they don't interchange with the Galaxy Watch Ultra or Ultra 2, which use a dedicated 34mm connection of their own.

Do these bands fit the Galaxy Watch Ultra or Ultra 2?

Not the 20mm, 22mm or Dynamic Lug bands on this page. The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Ultra 2 use their own dedicated 34mm band connection, and Samsung is explicit that the Ultra can only be used with its dedicated bands. How do I know if my watch takes 20mm or 22mm bands?

Check your watch's model number or specs page, or measure the gap between the lugs where the band meets the case. As a rule of thumb, most Galaxy Watch 4 through 7 models (including Classic and Pro versions) are 20mm, while the older, larger cases like the 2018 Galaxy Watch 46mm, the Galaxy Watch 3 45mm and the Gear S3 are 22mm. A bigger case doesn't always mean a wider band, so it's worth confirming rather than guessing from the case size alone.

How do I change my Samsung Galaxy Watch band?

It depends on your watch's fitting. On the 20mm and 22mm spring-bar models, slide the small lever on the underside of the band toward the case, lift the old band free, then press the new band's spring bar into the same lug holes until it clicks. On the Dynamic Lug and 34mm fittings (Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, Watch 9, Watch Ultra and Ultra 2), there's no spring bar: press and hold the release button where the band meets the case instead, then press the new band's connector into place. Either way it takes seconds and no tools.

Which material should I choose?

Silicone sport bands are the default for training and rinse clean in seconds. A nylon loop is lighter and more breathable, a good fit for overnight sleep tracking. Milanese mesh and stainless steel link bands dress the watch up for the office, and genuine leather is the most formal option where it's stocked. Many people keep two: one for the gym, one for everything else.

Do you carry bands for the Gear S2, Gear S3 and Gear Sport?
